Programmable 4-channel Strain Gauge Conditioner

A fully integrated 4-channel strain gauge signal processing module outputting calibrated and processed strain gauge values via a single digital port.

It offers the following advantages over discrete or PC based acquisition cards solutions.

• Allows analogue signal conditioning to be done close to transducers for maximum signal integrity.
• The A/D’s large dynamic range eliminates the need for transducer balance.
• Scaling to the required input range or user’s units performed in software, producing calibrated output signals in real-time.
• Digital output allows inexpensive isolation, cabling and interface to computer, telemetry or recording systems, which do not need an analogue processing capability.
• Non-volatile configuration and calibration allows calibrated values to be output the minute power applied.
• Full remote software control of the conditioners without the need for manual adjustment.
• Raw and calculated channels available.
• Custom processing can be added if required, depending on speed and size demands
